Catalyst Propel OA
This four-point knee orthosis is intended for the treatment of mild to severe unilateral knee osteoarthritis in combination with knee instability or after injury to reduce the load on the joint. The orthosis has the unique Active Thigh Cuff (ATC) solution on the front of the thigh. This is a flexible and strong double thigh cuff that enables the ultimate suspension. Provides protection and comfort by moving the muscles throughout the movement. A strong but low-profile aluminium frame of the highest quality provides superior protection.
The Q-joint of the orthosis is adjusted clockwise or counterclockwise to achieve the
desired relief. Start with the orthosis in the neutral position, with the knee bent at 90º, and turn 1/8 turn at a time to adjust the relief. The orthosis comes with different stops for flexion and extension. Catalyst Propel ™ OA can also be set to limit the range of motion for extension and flexion independently. The orthosis can also be set for free movement. Comes with 5º stop installed.
